Our last Open Mic & Electro Acoustic Jam Session went down a treat, with a really good turn out of some fantastic local musicians. With a special thanks to Kilmaurs very own Jim Marshall who will be comparing our next session.
There was a variety of performers from guitarists, box beating, keyboard, and violins, banjo plus many more. Playing a mixture of music from covers, own records and on the spot Jazz medleys which was just fantastic to hear.
With a mixture of age groups which was fantastic, especially seeing the slightly more mature musicians given the newer ones some tips and also the other way around at some point. If you ask Rab Dunlop he will fill you in on his jazz lesson.
Our next one is on the 6th of September from 7.30 pm, so if you play an instrument then pop along to The Weston you will be made to feel right at home.
