After a fantastic week of events leading up to the big day its self last Sunday we thought we should take some time to reflect on events.
After several months of hard planning by the volunteers of Kilmaurs Gala day committee who out done themselves by organising the best gala week yet.
It was fantastic to see so many locals and visitors coming together to enjoy a week of fun, laughter and entertainment with the sun shinning on Gala Sunday to top off such a fantastic week.
At the Weston we had the annual car treasure hunt on the Tuesday evening which saw the most vehicles in recent years in attendance with our own team taking part. With free nibbles on the night and a raffle which raised £170 for Gala funds with The Weston matching the raffle money taking the total to £340.
On the Thursday night we held a jam session in the bar which went down a treat so much so that we are planning on holding another in the near future.
On Gala Sunday with the sun shinning and our new court yard looking great it was all hands on decks. There was a fantastic turnout this year most likely due to the good weather and the brilliant build up to the big day its self.
If you want to be a gala volunteer then give them a message or maybe you have a fantastic idea to help improve Kilmaurs Gala for next year.
On behalf of our customers and family's we want to thank this years volunteers for their hard work and delivering yet another outstanding event roll on Gala Week 2019.
