Lizzie who was born in Kilmaurs neighbouring town Stewarton. She started working in the Weston since she was 16 and continues to work here five years later.
Lizzie has continued to work in the Weston through her last years at Stewarton Academy, through three years at West College Scotland studying dance and still continues to work part time on top of now being a Dance Teacher for Jam Street School Of Dance.
Waitressing is the ideal part time job for Lizzie as she loves to work with the public and being available to work flexible hours it ties in great with her career.
Having went to school with some of the staff and having worked here since 2013 she has created some great friendships and feels very much part of the Weston Family.
Come and enjoy a friendly and enjoyable visit at the Weston Tavern. Host John Cairns and the team, welcome regular patrons and new visitors to relax in the Weston’s genuine rustic interior, with its dark stone floor and thick, warm walls, wood features, soft furnishings and a heart-warming, wood-burning fire.
